I use mine for portraits more than I use it for macro. It is a really nice multipurpose lens.
Yup, I do the same ... It's one of my favourite lenses

The bokeh is creamy wide open and 4 stop hybrid IS is amazing. I can get sharp shots at 1/30. The only other logical move would be to get 135L.
