I was shooting with the low end Sigma 75-300 and this fight started as I was adjusting my camera and facing the other way. It was over before I even realised what was happening. Handshake and/or shutter speed ruined what could have been amazing ... hence my purchase of the 100-400L.

Anyway... I've given the photos a very quick run through photoshop to give a storyline of the fight.

I could have lived with the lack of focus in the first three if the last one had been tack sharp and didn't have that small tree in the way of their faces. It would have tied the whole thing together with a bang.

Lessons learned:
- Always be ready
- Use IS bceause it's worth it.
- Use centre point focus with AF Servo
- Have loads of memory because you'll miss a chance while deleting unwanted images to save space.
- Always be ready.
