Under the full moon

stunning work here do nothing to it methinks

I like this shot...but would try some other things with it. For one...I don't like taking a moon and then just putting it into a photo. I want it to look natural. Here is what I would do:

Expose for your foreground (Fire/Cabin) in one shot.
Expose for the moon in another shot.
Expose for the starts in a third shot.

Combine these three shots in photoshop and hopefully you can get rid of some of the hotspots in the fire and get a more natural look.

That's just what I would do though and it requires a good tripod and remote release for best results.

Thanks OdiN for the good advice. Have you tried this technique with 'merge to HDR (high dynamic range)' in PS?
