found a new spot, thanks to a friend. Unfortunately, couldn't stay for the better light, but snaffled these and am happy enough. Can't wait to go back again, later in the day.

Nice captures Tina, always good to get these birds. The Red-caps can be a bit of a pain to get right though.

thanks jo, will be a while, as it is an hour and a half from me, and i have been a bit busy. Plus isn't full migratory season yet, so I feel I have some time up my sleeve.

thanks Joe, and yes, I did. But I put on my ballhead, and should have used the gimbal. Could have used a riser with the pod as well, as I felt a bit too close to the ground, and in some shots, the small mangrove roots were a problem.
