Part of a small set in South Florida I did. Trying to get into landscape, in Florida, that's like going to a bar to give up drinking.

Like the clouds a lot, and the green is nice. Other than the Keys and Everglades, I have a hard time finding landscape scenes in FL. That's why we leave for the summer.

The clouds are really nice. But, it's hard to make a really good landscape picture when you have little to work with except the clouds. Generally, you need some elements to compose to lead your viewer around the scene. The clouds are just one element.

That was what I figured

Landscape is almost impossible in Florida except for Clermont and parts of the state near it that actually have more than 20ft elevation change

Open fields like that are great for landscape. You probably need some better lighting though.

You should be able to get some good elevation from just about any bridge crossing the Intercoastal Waterway. There should be plenty of subjects with the plant life, beaches, etc. I only remember some northern parts of the state having any elevation, you just need to work with what's there, which is quite a lot.
