Picking up a 550D (T3i maybe?) as a second time-lapse body, and while ill be using MagicLantern i also want to try the bulb ramping on the Triggertrap iPhone dongle with it.

Im pretty sure the 550D uses a 2.5mm jack as the shutter release, but i only have the square custom Canon one that the xxD onwards use.

And this is where you guys come in. Anyone have a Triggertrap cable and can tell me whether its just a basic 2.5mm stereo cable on both ends with straight through wiring?

Hey there!

I run Triggertrap, so I think I can help on this one :-)

The 550D does indeed use a straight 2.5mm to 2.5mm stereo cable with the Triggertrap Mobile.
