Will the bokeh be shallower as the 35 1.4L is basically a faster lens, or the same when both are set to f2.8 ?
Or would there be an advantage of the prime (next to the sharpness/colours) ?

More info | Aug 18, 2012 12:17 | #4 The claim is that the mark2 version of the 24-70L will have smoother bokeh because the aperture blades are different. But the depth of field is not a function of anything other than focal length, so at 35mm as Charlie says, they will be both the same. Richard
