M51 - Whirlpool Galaxy

I got all my toys out last night in a grey zone. I took 60 min of exposure total (6x10m) to get this result. Shot with the 5D Mark III through an Meade 127mm Triplet refractor.

Looks great to me, though a little small. I downloaded it to get a closer view so that I might check it out better. I think you did a great job!

Lightroom. the 100% version is a single exposure.

You have to leave the city. its hard to see in light pollution.
