I've been to Yosemite a couple of times this summer taking snapshots. The sequence is from west to east. C and C appreciated.

Great series, really like them. #1 is my favourite, it looks prehistoric.

Excellent set. I like them all because they do not look overprocessed like so many others. KUDOS to you, Jon.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Photographs are just an added benefit of being up there.

As for the processing on #3 Mike, I wasn't too happy with it either. I go out on Olmstead Point whenever I'm passing through that area and still haven't gotten a shot I really like. In the Summer there is generally a haze that drifts up the canyon from Yosemite valley, and as soon as the sun gets very high it really shows up in a photo. This one was early one morning, so I jacked up the contrast a lot. It needs a stormy morning with the wind out of the east, so I'll keep stopping by to check conditions when I'm up there.

I do too. Sometimes I don't even take the camera out of the car!

BTW, I was in your area last week for a day passing through. :D

Thanks for sharing. Those are very very well done and catch the essence of what you feel when at the park. Awesome!
