I go out on Olmstead Point whenever I'm passing through that area and still haven't gotten a shot I really like. In the Summer there is generally a haze that drifts up the canyon from Yosemite valley, and as soon as the sun gets very high it really shows up in a photo. This one was early one morning, so I jacked up the contrast a lot. It needs a stormy morning with the wind out of the east, so I'll keep stopping by to check conditions when I'm up there. I do too. Sometimes I don't even take the camera out of the car! Images in the Backcountry
