Nice DOF and Composition. I would maybe bring up the brightness or blacks a tad to bring out the details in dark part of the wing and body.

Lovely capture. Good focus and angle on the dragon. Minor nit-pic is the background which is a bit distracting but dragons always seem to perch in the wrong place

Yeah the background bothers me as well. If I shot lower than f/9 it would have looked nicer but chances are the dragonfly would have been out of focus. Really glad you like it though!

Any idea what this dragonfly would be called? I dont know the first thing about them.
