Prairie Falcon - Montana

Went looking for some Sandhills around Sheridan MT - but they proved to be illusive and on the wrong side of the sun - instead we came across a pair of Prairie Falcons - they were nice enough to pose for us before taking off - you could see some blood on one of their claws and beak must have just had breakfast

Sorry, not a Prairie Falcon, looks like immature swainson's hawks, this is a Prairie Falcon. But they are great shots of swainson's hawks. : )

Nice, I like all 3 but the last one with 2 birds is cool.
