One of my first attempts at HDR, taken with my old Zeiss Tessar 50mm.

Thanks Mark. These were merged using Picturenaut and then converted from Tif for use on the forum. After looking at the original raw frames, I would agree, they are considerably over saturated.

I shall have another go using DPP and see how that works.

To me, this looks much less interesting.

Since posting the last pic, one thing I have noticed is. I used a tripod, live view and shutter release for this shoot, because the lens was fully manual and I wanted as little movement as possible. However,although I ticked the auto align box in DPP HDR, when I view at 100%, the pic shows signs of movement, probably from a slight breeze, but when I view the first pic at 100%, there is no ghosting at all, most odd.

I shall try and replicate this in another set of photographs and see what happens.
