I used to own the 320ex, it's a nifty little flash.
However, it's like a swiss army knife. Yes it does have a video light and can be used as a remote to trigger your camera, however can't beat a dedicated video light, it does lack a little bit in power, and isn't the best remote trigger out there (the remote is on 2 second delay only). I couldn't find a use for the remote trigger, apart from using it to trigger self portraits and then quickly hiding the flash behind me to be used as a background light. Another small little quirk that I didn't like was that you had to be in live view mode to use the LED for AF assist.

The downside to me was when I wanted to explore/learn more about off camera flash, I wanted to be able to manually control the power - something you can't do with the 320ex. In the end, I sold mine and bought a YN565 & 560II instead.

Don't get me wrong. Its a cool little compact flash and might be just right for you if you don't need the 430. If I were travelling light I'd prefer to pack one of these over the YNs

Here you go. Phil Steele discounting the 320ex also. I bet he owns a 580ex and is a pro too. :)
