I like how this turned out...(there's a whole other image going on in my niece's eyes), i'd like to know how others out there feel about it.

Thank you!

I really love the photograph as it is, but the eyes, if a cop saw her, he'd arrest her for drugs... heheh
Really though, that is way too much processing on her eyes, or anyone's eye.
Come back to around 1/3rd of it, and you may have something that looks more normal.

I really like the rest of the shot though, and the black and white you made.

SOOC converted to B&W in LR4 then exported and uploaded....nothing else done.
For comparison...

All I can say is, "Dang!"

Really, that is a LOT of reflection, too much for me, but, if it's there, it's there. heheheh
In some things I like a lot of reflection, I try to do that myself when taking certain shots, but I guess in a baby shot, it's a bit much, at least for me, it's too overpowering, too bold.

Maybe others will like it though, I ain't nobody. :)

When I upped the contrast and clarity in the OP image I was blown back a little too...but in the end I like it. Gonna Facebook this to her mother and get an opinion:neutral:

The mother and your opinion are really the only ones that matter anyway.
It's not bad, it's just odd to me that it came out that way, I assumed that you had gone and done some crazy stuff to it, but I live, and I learn, or try to. (I could try all day long to get that in stuff I shoot and not get it that good!) heheh

I bet she loves it, I don't see how she couldn't, that IS a really cute baby. :D

Pretty cool, not a fan of how you cropped this though.

Either that, or take your camera's orientation to portrait, which it is :-)
