Does the Canon 35l 1.4 come with a hood? If I attach a step up ring for 72-77, is it still possible to attach the hood?

Yes, it does come with a hood. And no, the hood won't attach with a step up ring from 72-77. I use the B+W step up ring to use my 77mm CPL and it does not fit.

Cheers for that.

AFAIK, all L lenses come with hoods. Everyone I've had has. For the prices, I'd hope they all do.

Also, do you get any vignetting using the CPL on the 35l? Or any changes to the sky like you can get on an ultra wide with CPL?

I haven't had any issues using the CPL with a step up ring. I'm using a Hoya HD CPL if that helps at all.
