like the concept not the execution

cropped too tight.... blown whites...dirty table...and clock

What happens if you turn the clock around and take the picture from behind the guy?
My clock faces me when I'm in bed.
What's the story about why it's back faces him?

what happens if you focus on the guy rather than the clock. anyone in the modern word knows the pain of getting up for work.

The pain should be in his face not the clock.

Amen. Highlights lead you away from the clock in which the photographs main purpose is. Reshoot.

As for the photo, I'm kind of like the rest.

It better than any black and white I have ever done. The dirty table is distracting though. I don't have a problem with the whites being blown out, I feel it adds an element to the picture.
