old library

I was around with my camera and passed by the university in my hometown. It'a a very old university, founded back in 1361. The university has an old library:

I asked for permission right at the entrance, they just asked if I was going to sell the photos and let me in (no tripod). I also asked for permission to publish the shots on sited like this or flickr and the answer was positive. I have also been invited to take some specific pictures of ancient printings that they are going to publish!!! Hadn't I asked for permissions they would have never contacted me for this job.

Nice story, and cool pictures. I liked the one with a padlock most.
