One of my favourite birds and they really show off when they open their wings. You can see some red just under the forewing in this shot but wings open and wow..brilliant red on white. Thanks Ted. The background is a result of the distance to the high hedges and trees behind the bird. That 200mm consistently gave me similar backgrounds this past summer.
