Great set Jo. I scrolled down hoping to see 'Superman' (Kingfisher in flight) at the end. I don't think it'll be long judging by the quality of these :)

LoL, not yet Mark. My uncle and I went back last week back lucked out. We were draped very well by our blind (net) and waited for 2 hours until the kingfishers got tired of chasing each other. They are very territorial. The sign that they (or the female KF) will start perching and fishing is when they calm down so when everything was quiet, the female KF started fishing for small crabs. Not 5 minutes, 2 dudes came out from the trail and started looking for the crabs and grabbing sticks and throwing stones to the river. All I can think of is "what an effing luck we have that day" :D. The funny thing is they did not see us, we were just about 10 ft away from them. My uncle said that if that was war, those 2 dudes would have been dead. LOL. Maybe next time. Thanks for stopping by and commenting :)

I see your Uncles point. If that ever happens again, slowly advance on the two idiots and when you're close enough, push them in the water (whilst staying inside your cammo net) They'll report to the Police that they were attacked by a walking bush and end up getting arrested for being stupid :D

Jo, you keep posting these fantastic shots. I love the open mouth photos with the second being my favorite.

I do however have one question about the first in the series, was he trying to sell you a watch? ;)
