Looking for detailed feedback on my tonal range and contrast, as well as sharpening. And any other constructive criticism as well.

Thanks,
Randy

What kind of detail are you seeking? The tonal range looks good to me. Blacks are black. The lower sky is close to white. You might want to clone out the spec in the lower sky on the left margin. You might want to look at a version with a little less sharpening. It looks a tiny bit edgy to my eye.

Ah.... this brings up a very interesting point that I've always wondered about. It's a very specific sharpening question so I think I'll zip over to the post processing section and ask it as its own topic. Thanks for the feedback!

Maybe apple and red or orange filter to it... get the sky to deepen up a tad. But i really like the crop.

I actually used the graduated ND filter in cRAW on the sky. There was a very thick haze in the air that day, and the sky in the original was a solid, soft white--actually looked pretty cool and added a nice level of simplicity to the photo. I wanted to add a little bit of tone, however. Maybe I could add another channel mixer layer with a red filter, and then mask out the bush and ground to try that out with the sky. Also I zapped that speck on the left. Thank you!
