And now for something completely different: Festival & instagram

Went to local festival Geuzenpop.
Shot this festival from 2005 thru 2009, so didn't fancy lugging around a DSLR this year. Instead I took my iPhone, and (since I was there for fun and battery life isn't exactly great) tried to limited myself to one or two shots per gig.

Obviously, since it's an iPhone 3Gs, IQ (and ability to even get a usable image) drops quite dramatically if lighting gets lower… I guess with the latest iPhones, it's quite possible to get a usable image even then.
There was one open air stage, two smaller stages in tents.

Yeah, I like it. It's a bit of a challenge to compose a square format, not to mention the very little control you have on focus and exposure (and timing). But I like that challenge

I do use instagram but I rarely use it, but never for concert photography.

I don't know how to get the watermark/signature on it, plus it would look "unprofessional" to the security in the photography pit

I created the gallery using the images saved on the iPhone (since they were bigger then on Instagram) using LR, and that added the watermark.

Obviously, I wasn't in the photopit, but in the audience
