Just introducing myself...

I'm Nicole, I've been browsing the forum for a minute and I must admit you guys shots are AWESOME. I can't work for searching the forum and reading. I can only hope to be a 1/10th as good as you all. This is my first DSLR to own although I played with a rented rebel before, and I fell in love with that camera and just had to have it. Keep up the GREAT work.

you can also just up load an Image to this site, go to the " Go Advanced" button on the bottom of the text box and click "Manage Attachments" , you can upload a medium sized Jpeg (100KB or smaller).. thats what I do, i can never get the Img tags to work...lol

Thanks Carzee, I have only taken a few shots of my family taken in automatic mode. I want to learn it in manual mode so I can use the camera as it was intended. Compare to you all, I am afraid to post pics. I suck right now.

Thanks Zacker, I am looking at lens for portrait shooting since that is what I will be doing mostly. Taking pics at my mother retreat an such, I made money with limited skills. With my garbage camera I had, I dont even remember what it was, a P & S is all I remember since the XT came into my life. Before I buy a lense, I want to make sure I have learned to use the kit lens to its fullest first.

Thanks Jerry, I am in Tallahassee, it is quite cold here. But compared to others with snow, I aint complaining. I will post a few when I get home. Thank you all for the encouragement.
