Anybody using Elements Organizer/Photoshop 10 on a Mac running Lion?

I have a mid 2009 MBP running Lion OS. I purchased Elements Premier 10 from Amazon. I have installed the software. My computer locks up to the point that I have to do a force quit every time I try to use any of the elements software.
$100 down the drain if I can't figure out how to make this work with Lion. I would even be willing to upgrade to Mountain Lion if some one can tell me that it works with that OS.

I haven't heard of a basic issue running Elements 10 with the Mac OS, so it sounds like it's something to do with your particular system. You may want to plug into forums for Elements and Mac to see if others have found a similar problem and solution...?

Does it lock up when you open the software, or when you try and process files?

Organizer locks up when I open. Photoshop locks up when I process.

That's not a screaming system by today's standards, but it should be plenty of juice to run Elements. Have you tried calling support at Adobe? Maybe they have ideas or patches you might need.

Just to rule it out, have you tried removing and reinstalling the application?
