This is a bridge I ride my bicycle under almost daily, they built this massive bridge over a wetland and water collects beside the bike path under the bridge. Shot with my IPhone.

Theres some trippy angles going on there, very nice. I'm guessing the bridge is angled or slowly sinking. Since it's a wetland you should stake out that location and add a duck to the scene :)

thanks Adam, it's kind of an odd canted structure with a steep bank, those steel beams are about 6 feet tall I doubt it's sinking, they just opened it. The bridge it replaced was built in 1937 made "The 10 Pieces of U.S. Infrastructure We Must Fix Now" list. The transportation department rated it a 3 out of a possible 100 in "sufficiency", noting that the “crossing is so poor that its listing in the National Bridge Inventory database highlights the fact that it ‘does not meet currently acceptable standards’ and that the situation is ‘basically intolerable.’ Driving over that old thing was a "say a prayer and go like hell" situation.

The bike path went underneath it, locals avoided that section of the path. I wouldn't ride underneath it - I was worried it would collapse. Chunks fell off it - people would pick them up and show up at public meetings with them.

Thanks Mark - the IPhone might have that, I don't know. I just use it to take snapshots when I'm out on my bike. I email them to myself and use CS5 to tinker with them. I stopped there to get a drink, temp was about 90, this spot was out of the sun and I needed some water before I start climbing the hill to where I live.

Thanks Mark, I'm officially a geezer (I have a Medicare card) and I drink about a bottle every 15 miles.

I really like that photo Rick. I never think to use my iPhone as a camera.

Has the feel of industrial abstract. Nice.
