Thanks! I'm pretty sure they are all rubbish and not good for a portfolio. But I have been know to be too hard on my work =/

Being able to self-evaluate your work is an important skill to develop. My litmus test is, can you imagine them hanging in a gallery.

I agree the soccer one looks good, and I'd keep it. I'm not too keen on the first one though. I know it's a storm chaser, but I don't know if the general populous will get it, in which case it looks like a guy in a car with a GPS/computer. Technically, the image looks good, it's the subject that I question.

Number 6 has been sharpened too much and the hats have a black line/haze above them, I would toned down the overall sharpening and create a mask in Photoshop so you can preserve the hats but still sharpen the face. Hope that helps :)

Yea, not sure what happened with #6. I think I'm going to have 2 portfolios. One for sports and one for journalism like storm chasing/news

I agree with this. The first photo is my least favorite. The sports/action shots are better.

4 should go
3 has some highlight overexposure which could be remedied with shadows and highlights, brightness, contrast, and levels. There is also a slight yellow cast to the white uniforms.
I could post an edit if you like me to.
