I got lucky yesterday and happened to have my 40d on the back of my motorcycle on the way home from work. "Unfortunately", I had the 55-250 attached to it when I saw this.. I immediately parked the bike and gave it a shot - and I have to say, I'm very pleased! Not the lens I would I have chose if I had an option, but it performed well considering the circumstances. Hand-held w/ IS on. The ISO was bumped around 1600 with shutters around 1/40th I believe.
