Saw this article today and thought some here may be interested to know this. It dosen't give a schedule but at some time I would expect some disruption in the area.

It is the kind of place you head to early in the morning...in the winter. I can't imagine the traffic in summer.

I drove past last week at around noon and cars were lined up on highway 89. Crazy!

I was there in the beginning of August 2010 and it wasn't bad. Quite a few people but nothing to stop getting good shots.

Well I was there April of 2011 and there were a few people but not to many. I'd say about 10-15 max. The parking lot only had 7 or so cars. I hope the construction, when it starts, doesn't cause too many problems.

I'd imagine is like many other popular spots. Once schools back in session it's better, and even better on weekdays and during the "off-season". I was there a few years ago in October and there were maybe 5 people there on the trails but I was the only photographer there for the hour or so I was there.

Last time I was there was middle of July, and we were only ones there. Not a single other soul there. But I agree, that not many people are crazy enough to go there in middle of summer with those temperatures :D
