Got a call from a client today about a bracket and some kind of a flash unit left at their house. I get there expecting the worst, it's my 540ez and Stroboframe rotating L bracket

No corrosion, rust, nothing. Batteries were next to dead but I put a fresh set in, put the old ones on the charger and it fired right up.

ITT: we discuss times we've done stuff like this.

Was this in their house, or left outside. If it was left in the house, you may be surprised to know that we have roofs and air conditioning. :D

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

They said they found it a couple days ago at the base of an oak tree in their front yard.

Whether or not it's true I'm not sure, judging from the exceptional condition, but I'm just glad to have it back, and that I was able to use it tonight without a hitch at another client's shoot.
