I am trying to improve my pp to help minimize the effect. I love the 7d in all other respects, but shooting in the shadows is not a strong point. I have an external flash, but am still trying to come to grips with it's proper operation...

I don't really miss the crop factor of the 7D, although I still do switch to it from time to time, when there's lots of light. In my case I usually see noise when I have to crop, but if the shot does not require cropping, 1600 ISO is still pretty good. I would love to get a 1D4 but that would have to wait ... does it really matter?i see with my eyes, i shoot with my fingers.

Just don't pick up on the noise like I should until someone points it out in my shots. Would love to learn Mike's processing skills for my own use in my shaded backyard. Well done, Mike. Rog
