My first short film.
It probably wont stand up to the works of a lot of other members here, but this is my first attempt, barely 8 weeks after the first time i played with the video on my 5d II

"A Second Chance" is a short film based on the life of a homeless man, who managed to free himself from the clutches of drugs & poverty to get back on his feet.

I would appreciate constructive feedback from everyone to help me grow and learn.
I edited this in two weeks on FCP X (which i am in the process of learning}, but already i can see its limitations, and am thinking to move towards Adobe Premier Pro 6

pretty gud. i like ur shots like each one portrayed his journey from being on the streets to a shelter. also this seems like more like a documentary.

Thanks SoJ1Ro.
I just got to know today, that the person who this film is based on, was planning to leave the rehabilitation shelter mid way without completing the program, but once he saw the film and realized how far he had come - he decided to stay and complete the program.

I felt very humbled and flattered by that !

Well done and an excellent example of the power of DSLR. I did not notice the cuts.
