I'm still very new to this and I am trying to improve. This image was edited in lightroom 4 and photoshop CS6. In lightroom I adjusted the white balance and exposure. Then in Photoshop I adjust her iris exposure, did some spot removal. Then I did some dodging and burning along with a VERY slight blur on the skin. I did not even really notice a difference from the blur.

Photo info:
Canon 60D
Canon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6
@50mm
f/5
1/80 sec.
ISO 500
No flash

Any and all input will be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

Your wife is lovely and I think you did a great job in processing her. You could clean up the background a bit, that strange mark above her left leg and the rust stain and dark thing in the upper right. Maybe blur the stones a bit. Try some different poses too.

Additionally...note her left hand...it's red tinged...pooling of blood in that hand due to her supporting her weight with that hand. Change her pose next time. ;)

Thank you for your input guys! I did notice her hand... and it was driving me insane during PP but I decided to give up on it and focus more on the rest of her. With this picture my big concern was practicing working on her skin as well as dodging and burning. This of course made me completely forget to touch up the background.

Chauncey caught what was really my only objection in the photo... the over redness in the hand... and to some extent her leg... the red tinting. Of course taking the cheaters way out... making it a B/W photo would make most of these problems go away... and I think the tones would work very nicely together here... just saying.

I agree with what's been said...Don't have anything to add...Very nice pic of a beautiful lady, though.

The angle of her neck doesn't look very natural. Also don't like the cropped out fingers.
