While ff cameras are no doubt better for weddings I hoped some of the people who use their cheaper smaller cropped cousins could post to show how good they can be. We are always told its not the camera. Please post!

One wedding was my wife's niece (first wedding I shot) and she has had many of the shots printed at 8x10 or larger, framed and hang on the walls of their new home. Kind of get a kick out of going to their house ... it's like having my own art show! (she won't allow me to open it up to the public 2 - 5DMKII's, Powershot SX 150 IS

Aug 25, 2012 12:24 | #6 There are enough ff vs crop threads here and around the net, I only started this thread to see crop sensor wedding photos as they are seemingly rarer than ff wedding shots. If you dont agree with my statement an why larger sensors with bigger photosites that catch more light with less noise, then that is fine. (was looking for some examples to post but they are on my other computer, so will try to post some later on!) looking fwd to seeing them flickr

You'll probably find the opposite true if you actually look. Since crop cameras are generally less expensive, you should find more of those everywhere...including wedding photographers' bags. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here

FF or Crop doesn't matter what/where you're shooting, use the lens that gets you the composition you want. I shot a few weddings with my 40D. 7D MKII ■ 10-22 ■ 15-85 ■ 28-135 ■ Σ 50-150 ■ 70-200 f4L ■ 100-400L ■ 580EX II
