There is no reason why you can't shoot a wedding... or anything in the entire world with a crop sensor camera. Trust be told, weddings are not a very demanding environment. my site (very outdated at this point)

Just a small sample from my Flickr. I'm not really seeing how FF, in and of itself, is necessarily "better" for weddings. Sure, less noise for any given ISO, nothing a little bounce flash and/or noise reduction can't fix.
