I spent some time at Glacier a couple weeks ago and was fortunate enough that the smoke from the fires dissipated enough at night that I could take advantage of the extremely dark skies.

#1 is awesome, I love the stars and that you got a decent reflection in the water.

Thanks! I used the 5D classic at iso 1600 and the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 at f/1.8 for 13 seconds. The first is a pano of 17 images stiched together.

All amazing and reminds me why I got into astrophotography! Now if I could just be 1/2 as good at it!

Thanks everyone. The dark skies make all the difference. The Milky Way was incredibly well defined to the naked eye.

There's a cyan hue in the image just above the mountains that I'm trying to PP out but I'm not having much luck, despite keeping the white balance equivalent between all the images. If I ever figure it out I'll post a new version :)

1 is great, but so is that last shot of the Pleiades, with the storm on the horizon is very cool!
