Hey everyone I was hoping you all could answer a question for me. I am looking at getting a 300 2.8 mk I and was wondering if its only the IS version that has the focus lock buttons on the barrel of the lens or does the non IS one have them too? Ive only used the IS version but I really don't need it.

thanks

Warren I'm talking about the focus memory for example if I was shooting baseball I could focus on 2nd base and have the focus be saved then I could go shoot home plate and if there was a play at second swing over hit that focus memory button towards the end of the barrel
