Thought I wold start a thread for sharing your favourite shot from the previous year. It would be great if you could include the EXIF data also, along with camera and lens used.

Here's one to start the thread off.

I was there too at Silverstone. They sound amazing too.

Heres my first ever motorsport Picture. Using 550d and EF-S 55-250 F5.6 @ 1/640sec

I took around 500 shots but think that one was my best.
I would like to get a good longer lens. the one I used was my son's. I'm thinking off the 70-200 f2.8L or 300 f4L.

I was thinking the same thing, i used a 70-200 f4 L the whole day, got some good results
But just thought if i had that extra reach i could have got even better shots!

I think a Silverstone you do need a 300mm, and ideally with a x1.4. The f4 L is a good lens.

Yeah that would probably be good enough now considering all the changes that have been made, its alot easier to get shots their than it used to be
