I use my old AE-1 FD lenses with my Canon 60D. I use an adapter - not this one and I am intrigued to see how well this works-and I loooove the way my pics come out, especially in B&W. Yes, the newer lenses are easier to use, but I like the feel of the old lenses and the fact that you have to manually focus sort of takes me back to the old days of film. Looking for light in all the right places.
