nice expression in it, not sure i like the focus, can't tell what you were focusing on (maybe the thumbnail?)

I think you also need to warm it a bit, looks too cold to me. It would tell a better story if it wasn't shot so close to them IMO.

thank you all for the great replies. Can't recall that day what I was using as an AF mode, but I think it was "auto" and yes I agree - it's a bit cold (easy fix) and as for "theme" of the photo I wanted to capture her engagement ring, but with the flower too with his hands over her heart- err so in concept it was a good idea, but this particular execute maybe not so great. tad busy

Too many "messages". The ring is nearly invisible in the shadows of the hands.
The flower is essentially irrelevant but its the dominate visual element. The focus that gets some of the hands sharp and other hands soft is causing visual confusion.

The cropping needs some attention, along with color balance and exposure fine tuning.

I'm trying to understand your motivation for making the picture, given what you describe it really calls for a wider shot so we can tell its her heart that the hands are covering and the find a way to emphasis the ring with the flower as a complementary compositional element.
