Your makeup macro shots - do the clients like them typically? I think they're awesome, but every time I get too close to a bride's face, most of the time they panic a little. Using a 100 would help as it gives you a little distance I guess. Also, do you find you have to cover up a lot of blemishes considering the fine detail of the shot? -Adam

Thanks! snakeman55 wrote in post #14910808 Nice work as always Nick. 7 is my favorite, 8 is hilarious and I love the composition of 4, but is it me or are the subjects a little soft? The detail shots are great too. I think #4 might be jpeg compression. It would have to be REALLY soft to show up soft at these sizes! snakeman55 wrote in post #14910816 I've been meaning to ask you. It seems like the type of shot other photographers would appreciate more than clients.... I usually let them (bride and MUA) know I am going in with my macro and usually mumble about the shots looking awesome.

You might be right about photographers liking them more than the bride b/c it is rather close. I think it depends on the bride. Just another type of shot to add to the total throughout the day you know?Yeah that makes sense. I always like looking at them when you do them. -Adam

Awesome, but there is a Mermaid on the other side of the bridge that I would clone out ![]() 5. I like 6. Great cake shot. Sitting card - a bit more dof would be great 7. Beautiful moment captured. Her face is a bit blotchy (nip picking) 8. Great shot! I am not sure that was a good thing to do to older Folk though ![]() As for #4, yeah, I know. There was indeed a Mermaid statue on the other side. I'll clone that out before I deliver. Thanks. It's Mer-man....Mer-man!
