3-D magic elipse experiment

Just playing as usual. Tried doing the magic circle transformation on a pair of 3-D orchid shots to see if any 3-D would survive. In this case it was more a magic elipse as I didn't start off with a square image. The result does seem to carry some 3-D info but is a bit worrying.

(the magic circle transformation is done in PS using the following steps- filter/distort/polar coords Pto R, rotate image 180', distort/polar coords R to P).

Ouch! Now this does hurt my eyes to view as a stereo ...

Now I know what I would do when I retire
I like the image itself, very colorful, and I also like the abstract aspect of it.
As for 3d, I don't see much effect in this pair.
