Great article on Nokia Windows Phone and the camera capable of and may be suitable for your day to day camera.

In conclusion I admit that so far my experience with my Windows Phone has been a brilliant one. It helped me push my work forward, and the overall software and general quality of the pictures it can produce has always satisfied me.

a cell phone camera is not only for the pro's, amateurs can also get good pics from an iPhone.

What does the OS have to do with the camera? Or, are you merely an iSheep? Or, do you just like sounding like you're stuck in the 90's? ("Windoze")

My Windows Phone 7 experience for the past 6 months has been SUPERB.
I love everything about it and the camera on my Titan is 8mp, has numerous adjustment features and provides excellent quality images.

In the tank, as are low end video cameras. The smart phone is significantly restructuring the low-end electronic gadget market. This explains the move to EVIL ("mirrorless") cameras. Essentially, the large camera manufacturers see the writing on the wall for low end P&S. So they are attempting to defend their low end with "real" cameras where the benefit to the consumer is more tangible.
