70-200 F4 IS on a 5D2, lens or body upgrade

Hey all, looking for advice please - I have the funds to upgrade right now. I'm looking at 2 options:

1. 5D2 w/ 70-200 F2.8 IS II + G1X (trade in 70-200 F4 IS)
or
2. 5D3 w/ 70-200 F4 IS (trade in 5D2)

My main priority is capturing images of my daughter in a wide variety of lighting conditions, i.e. chasing her around the house. I've done my research on the forum and other sites about the advantages of the 5D3 over the 5D2, as this topic has been beat to death, but I wanted to know what yall thought. Here is my argument for either option.

Option 1: would gain a stop, but left with the AF of the 5D2 and the ISO performance in the house when I'm not using a flash. With this option though, I gain a G1X that I can use for travel and for when I bring my daughter to the park to shoot quick movies and shots while climbing around on the equipment (5D2 plus any 70-200 is cumbersome at times). Bokeh is better on the 70-200 F2.8...

Option 2: Gain all the advantages of the new body, but left with the 70-200 F4 IS, which I could bump the ISO up on the new body to get those tougher indoor shots while shooting it at F4. However, don't gain a second smaller pocket cam and am stuck with my SD780 IS which is terribly slow and noisy. But F4 doesn't equal F2.8 and since I've sold my 135L, I miss the subject isolation I use to get with that lens, IMO the F2.8 does a greater job of accomplishing that than the F4 (think that's been proven many times)....

Thoughts guys and gals. any input would be appreciated.

thanks!
-Steve

Personally I'd go 5D3, then save up and eventually upgrade to the f2.8mkII.

Who cares about G1x anyway when you have the 5D3, it certainly won't be missed ;)

5D3. The 5D2 focus is atrocious for moving object. Plus the 70-200mm F4 IS is the second best 70-200mm in Canon's lineup.

You might lose the isolation but the 5D3 AF and high ISO performance should more than make up for it.

hey guys: just found this thread on another forum...a lot of what they are saying echo's my concerns. I found this post interesting...

"What matters is your use. If you ever want to shoot someone's kids playing indoor basketball/volleyball/etc., the f/4 will be a hinderance.
If you shoot in big halls/wedding reception places indoors, you may find f/4 a problem.
If you hate artificial lighting, f/4 could be a hassle."

more on the topic here: http://www.canonrumors.com/forum/index.php?topic=8130.15 (external link)

anyone else in my situation could find the above helpful. many good points. Leaning towards the 5D3...think I will get the 5D3, shoot around with the F4 inside and see if I like it, if not - it's getting traded in around the holidays. /thread.
