Here are a few from the first home game.

Great rich colors, looks like you started out with some daylight and went to flash.
I'll be doing the same this weekend when we start our season. I have not shot flash
before, but might give it a try this season.

A small suggestion. Try to have a exposure of 1/3 to 1/2 stop plus so the faces show up. The worst part of football is the shadow on the faces, a real pain. It only get worse with the loss of daylight and we have these wonderful lights to contend with. I like #3, it has a better story to tell.
