Mr Moose you got it. The lint from a dryer rests next to the filter and takes on the shape of the filter grid. All yours.

Well, technically, that lint is Man Made. It comes from man made objects (clothing, towels, etc) So...

Anyway, I'll take another stab at this. You must be specific on this one. Unless no one gets even close to guessing what it is by tomorrow...
