So we know it's a breakfast item and we know that it's not:

Pancakes
Waffles
Grits
Cream of Wheat
English Muffin
Cup Cake
Crumb Cake
Toast
Dount
Cinnamon Roll
Biscuit
Danish
Bagel
Cold Cereal
Fruit


We know that Sugar is the 2nd ingredient and Enriched Flour is the main ingredient.
It's baked in an oven.
It's usually a breakfast food.
They were briefly popular in Afghanistan :) <---- New hint. Possibly a give away hint. :)

Wow, when I look at this, the blue areas seem to be moving apart and toward the left corners of the image. Optical illusion.
