DBNissan Goldmember More info | Aug 30, 2012 07:51 | #5 That has a 1600 x 900 resolution screen which is ok. Not sure how true the color representation will be. It also has integrated video with shared memory although it will use up to 1.6GB. Not sure if that will give you fast enough rendering or not in CS6

So there's little question that it has plenty of processing power, quite enough for most Adobe multimedia apps. The only question is whether the screen is sufficient, to know that it's best to actually see it in person.

The laptop is obviously OK for collecting files from a reader and putting them into LR/PSE/PS...etc. You can use the native screen for culling images that are out of focus, bad composition...etc. But if you want to do detailed post processing with color management, I would suggest you want at least a 25" monitor with high resolution that is color calibrated.

If it is for the full workflow, will it have an external monitor back at the desktop. If so, that should mean focusing on CPUs, memory, internal storage, and external ports (USB 3, thunderbolt..etc.).

But I am sure that would be pricey...I'd like it to be sub $1000 but I am sure that's wishful thinking...lol. 1D3---"Nifty Fifty"---24-70 L MK 1---70-200 2.8 ISL--580ex ii---430ex
