Is that old guy's tail stubbed? Looks like it....I used to shoot these guys from a canoe when I lived in Orlando.

That DUCK is a Snowy Egret. BTW, if the egret was also in focus, I would kill for that shot. Nice work!

That SNOWY EGRET is starting to look a bit like dinner. The Gator has some pretty good peripheral vision, judging from his eye position. On the other hand, I'd bet that the Egret can be airborne very quickly if needed.
