I am still getting used to CS6, and so far I much prefer my good old CS3, but its probably the frustration of change.
I always shoot RAW, and after I process the RAW image it opens in Photoshop, If I'm not mistaken.
So I usually have the image fill the space using the magnifier. this is where the problem occurs. The image looks slightly blurry, that is until I click on the magnifier again, which doesn't change the size or magnification, but suddenly the image becomes much clearer.
Its almost like the image should have been this way when it first opened, but the magnification button had to be pushed first to make it happen.
I'm sure it must be some sort of preference setting, but does anyone have an idea of which one ?
Also can anyone tell me how to set up the cropping, so its like it was in CS6 ?

Not sure I understand, if you are clicking with the magnifier selected, I'd expect PS to zoom in.

What kind of PC are you using where this is happening?

The new sliders in ACR7.x (Process 2012) are much better.

Actually it opens in ACR (Camera Raw) which is a part of PS.

Assume you mean CS3, not CS6. With the Crop tool selected look for the "Cog" icon just to the right of View (Rule of Thirds). Click on the little arrow and choose "Use Classic Mode". I didn't like the new way the Crop tool acted at first, but love it now that I've gotten used to it.
