I had my niece for the day, after lunch I told her we had to go buy her grandma's perfume at the Boise mall. Usually I have to promise her gelato to get her to agree to step foot in the mall. This time horever her face lit up and she said that Santa was at the mall. I had assumed that she'd already seen him. Anyway, had to run back to nampa for my camera. 5x7's were twenty bucks. and then an hour wait in line but she was thrilled and had her speech all prepared.

thank you bob and malla... I'm suprised I got what I did. She was talking to him for all of three minutes. But the mall photographer was very nice to let me take my own photo. Kind of suprised me.

I have so many pp softwares.. the one I like the most. is corel paint shop pro x. It's not the best out there or the best I have. But, I guess it's the one i'm better at anyway, there's about thirty framing options to choose from really, really simple. I've been doing this one on a lot for my 'christmas shots'. It's festive without being too much and it doesn't detract from the image my rule of thumb is if it's the first thing i notice i don't use it. . Sari.

thanks everybody. there's something about candid shots. I just think they can be so much better than posed photos. I like to capture the moment, not the time taken to say 'cheese' for the camera. but, parents tend to want to see the whole face.. so I try to do both when I get the chance. I got very lucky with this one, and Abby is an incredible model when she's not posing. Sari.
