First time shooting birds

I am completely new to this so if you guys have any tips, feel free to share! I went on a hike with the idea to shoot birds, threw the 70-200 on my 7D for a 320mm equivalent and tried to find out how sneaky I could be :lol:

I had a lot of fun today and can see myself doing it more often. I even got a terrible picture of a hawk :mad::D

Well done! Its addicting, so be careful!;) I have the same lens, it's valuable for these little ones. You might even dodge his eye a tad to bring out the whites.:D
